Q 1.

Do I need to bring a towel?

Yes you do – we want you to sweat, but just not on each other. For hygiene reasons a towel is required in all areas of the gym.


Q 2.

What do I need to do once I have finished on a machine?

You need to wipe down the equipment using the antibacterial spray and paper towels. But please do not spray directly onto any of the cardio equipment screens.


Q 3.

Are there showers?

 Yes there are. Feel free to shower after your training, we also have hair driers and GHD straighteners in the ladies bathroom.


Q4.

Are the Group Fitness classes part of the membership?

Yes! Most definitely! Group Fitness training is a great way to stay motivated, have fun while training and meet new people.


Q5.

Do I need a personal trainer?

It is not compulsory, however it is a good idea to get an individualised program, which specifically suits you, which can help with motivation and the results you want.

Please ask at reception about making an appointment with one of our trainers.


Q6.

Do you have to be fit to do the group fitness classes?

Good question. We have a range of classes suitable for everyone – all fitness levels. Please ask at reception about which classes might be right for you.


Q7.

Do we have to wear shoes?

Yes this is a MUST for Health and Safety regulations. Sports shoes are the best.


Q8.

Do I need a drink bottle?

It is a good idea to make sure you do not get dehydrated during training. We have water fountains for you to fill your drink bottles up, and we also have water and
other drinks for sale at reception.


Q9.

Do you need to book in for childminding?

Yes you do. You can either ring the day before on 0800 4 HEALTH
Or ask at reception how to book in. This is very important as we want to ensure we have the correct amount of staff per children.


Q10.

What if I miss a payment or need to change my payment details?

Please get in touch ASAP when are notified of any overdue or missed payments so that we can sort it out.
If you need to update any details we can do it at reception or you can phone Debit Success directly.


Q11.

I’ve just joined online, how do I get access to the gym?

Don’t forget if you join online to come in to the gym in staffed hours, Mon-Thur 9-6pm or Fri 9-4pm to collect your access key!
